Wax Canvas Co. began as a passion project to create a guilt-free candle that smelled amazing and could be burned around founder Kalees fragrance-sensitive loved ones. She quickly became obsessed with the art of fragrance and the way scents have the unique ability to evoke emotions and capture memories.
Kalee personally creates each product by hand in her small batch studio in beautiful, rural New Jersey. She uses pure and natural food-grade soy wax as well as cotton wicks for her candles - avoiding paraffin, dyes and lead altogether. Her perfumes are preservative, paraben and toxin-free. All of her fragrances are carefully selected to ensure they don't contain any phthalates or carcinogens and are blended with essential oils to gently uplift your mood without overwhelming your senses.
